Waitsburg held its middle school football awards Monday, after completing a 2-2-1 season last week. Award winners included (l to r): Tim Daves, Most Improved; Bradley Sandau, Special Teams Player; Tayvon Seney, Coach's Award; Carlos Norris, Mr. Offense; and Kevin Murphy, Mr. Defense.

"This was our first year doing middle school football with Dayton," said Coach Jeff Bartlow, "and it was an instant success. We're looking forward to doing it again next year."
