WW Farmers Market OFFERS Fresh Bucks

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Downtown Farmers Market will offer a new benefit to SNAP/EBT (formerly known as food stamps) customers during Saturday markets through October. The program will resume in May and be offered for the entire 2016 farmer’s market season.

Through the Fresh Bucks program, for every $5 in SNAP/EBT purchases made at the market, customers will receive an additional $2 in Fresh Bucks to use on fruits, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms and vegetable starts. SNAP/EBT customers must first purchase tokens from the market’s information tent to receive the Fresh Bucks match.

The Downtown Farmers Market is located in Crawford Park (106 W. Main, Walla Walla) and is open from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., through Oct. 31.
