Local Players in Summer Baseball

WAITSBURG – Three Waitsburg High baseball players are currently playing summer baseball in Walla Walla.

Recent graduate Talen Larsen is playing with the Walla Walla Bears this summer. The Bears are a 19-up independent travel team. They will have played 55 games from May through July. The team is coached by Brian Kitamura and is made up of college students and graduating high school seniors.

Jacob Dunn and Kyle Gradwohl, who will both be juniors at WHS next year, are playing summer ball with the Walla Walla Bruins. The Bruins are a 17-up senior American Legion team playing 50+ games May through July.

The Bruins are coached by Jason Parsons, and the team is made up of Walla Walla Valley-area high school players.
