State Americanism Essay Winner

Waitsburg American Legion Auxiliary President Rose Engelbrite (l) and Auxiliary member B.A. Keve (r) presented Kate Kuykendall (center) with a $100 check for winning the American Legion Americanism Essay contest at the state level during a joint service of the Christian and Presbyterian churches on Sunday morning. Kuykendall's essay will now be entered in competition at the national level.
