The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

A lone Moreno & Nelson Construction worker made the first cut in the Main Street ADA project Monday morning. The project should be complete by the month-end, but residents should expect intermittent road and sidewalk closures during construction. The project includes sidewalk replacement on both sides of Main Street from Third through Eight streets, some driveway and alley improvements, signage and the addition of a driveway off Main into the school district's Academy Street parking lot. Crosswalks will be moved and ADA compliant ramps will be installed.
