DAYTON - The Dayton Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Chamber's Visitor's Center in its office in downtown Dayton is now open Saturdays. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Chamber office is located at 166 E. Main Street.

Dayton Chamber Manager Andrew Holt said last week that the Chamber has hired Katrina James, of Dayton, to staff the center on Saturdays. James will be a senior at Dayton High School this year.

The Chamber's Visitor's Center offers a wide variety of brochures and other information and assistance about sites and activities in Columbia County, southeast Washington and throughout the northwest.

Holt also said that the new Saturday hours will be in effect at least through September.
