July 4 in Starbuck 9 a.m. to dusk Head to Starbuck for a Swap Meet, Community Yard Sale, Redneck Games, and live music. There will be fireworks at dusk if the wind is calm.

Waitsburg March & Picnic

Noon - 2ish

Gather in front of Waitsburg Hardware Store at noon to watch the Veteran's March or grab a flag and join the parade. Bring a dish to enjoy the potluck at the park following the parade. The Hardware Store will provide hot dogs and beverages.

Everyone is invited to a barbecue lunch to celebrate the progress of the construction of the Tucannon River Wind Farm. Enjoy refreshments and live music and sign your name on a wind turbine blade that will soon be generating power at the site. Lunch will begin at noon.

The regular board meeting will be followed by a review of the proposed Extension of the 2013-14 ASB Fund Budget at 8 p.m. District residents are invited to be heard for or against any part of the Budget Extension.
