May Street Sale Saturday

DAYTON- Dayton Churches and Community Organizations will hold the 11th Annual 3rd Street Sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Third Street, from Main St. to Park St., will be blocked off to accommodate the many churches and organizations that are offering items for sale. The Senior Center, Library, Theater, High School Senior Class, and Relay for Life will also participate.

Items for sale include clothes, appliances, tools, bikes, toys, dishes, furniture, antiques, and food items. The FFA will have a plant sale that day at the school greenhouses, just past the blocked off street area on South 3rd St. The Dayton Farmers Market will also be open from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Blue Mountain Artisan Center.

This sale was started 11 years ago by Ted Paterson of Dayton as a means for churches and community organizations to raise funds for various needs in the community.
