Attempted Rape Charges Dismissed

WAITSBURG -- Charg­es against a Jubilee Leader­ship Academy student and WP football player accused of attempted rape in an inci­dent occurring at Waitsburg High School on November 15 have been dismissed. The student pleaded not guilty on November 29 and was released to the cus­tody of Jubilee Leadership Academy. A motion by Prosecuting Attorney Jim Nagle expressing inability to prove the case resulted in a dismissal of the case by Judge Scott Wolfram on January 22.
