WALLA WALLA -- Tickets are now available for the Fall Furr Ball which takes place October 19, 2013 from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds historic pavilion. The evening begins with a host social hour, silent auction, and gaming in our faux casino, followed by dinner, live auction and dancing to the lively music of "Penrose Lane." Tickets are $50 per person, with reserved tables for eight guests available as well.

Funds generated from the Furr Ball directly support daily shelter operations, the most critical thing we do to meet our mission.

The mission of the Blue Mountain Humane Society is to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to companion animals in our community. We are committed to stopping the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets by ending overpopulation and homelessness. To achieve this, we provide quality shelter, spay/neuter, foster care, adoption, and re-homing services for companion animals in our community. We also provide spay/neuter and hu- mane education, animal control services, and cruelty and neglect investigation services. In cooperation with our community leaders, we work to craft legislation and policies to ensure that companion animals have homes with responsible, committed, and loving caregivers.
