A Night to Remember

Derek Knutson, a firefighter and EMT with Columbia County Fire District 3 watch­es as his "students" for the evening step down from the fire truck during Tuesday's National Night Out at Dayton's City Park. In front is Salomon Brenner from Dayton and behind him is Ava McQuary from Walla Walla. Event organizer Tim Quigg said the community event drew about 1,000 during the evening.
