The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Ok, maybe it wasn't 116 on Monday afternoon like the sign in downtown Dayton said, but it felt like it to some of us. Temperatures hit triple digits this week, but were expected to drop back to more tolerable temparatures over the holiday weekend, after the hottest stretch of weather we've seen around here in a couple of years.
