Honor Society Inductees

Dayton High School held its National Honor Society new members induction ceremony March 8 at the Columbia County Youth Building. Membership is an honor bestowed upon the students by the faculty. To be eligible, Dayton students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.60, demonstrate character becoming a member, demonstrate leadership activities, and have participated in at least 10 hours of school or community service. Once inducted members must maintain the qualities by which they were selected. Dayton High School's chapter is active in volunteering at Booker Rest Home, helping at St. Vincent De Paul and has helped stuff eggs for the community Easter Egg Hunt.
