Sara Beth McGowen, age 6, of Waitsburg, whispers into Santa's ear last Sunday that for Christmas she would like a bass guitar. Hometown Christmas, Waitsburg's Christmas festival, was Saturday and Sunday. The community enjoyed Turkey Bingo, craft vendors, baked goods, Christmas music played by Waitsburg School District students, a lighted parade on Main Street, a chili feed and of course visits with the big man in red himself.
