The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

The Starbuck School District's theme for the school year is "energized," and the students are learning about energy in all parts of our lives. They are studying traditional energy forms and how we use those energies. Trips to the local dams and wind farms will reinforce ideas about the ways we get electricity we need to power our lives. Students are participating in mandatory physical fitness during the first recess period. This helps the students get the physical activity they need to thrive in life.
