Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) fish managers will present information and take public input on proposed Tucannon River steelhead management changes at a meeting in Dayton on May 29. The Columbia County Rural Library District has been awarded a "Books for Children" grant from The Libri Foundation for the Dayton Memorial Library. The Library has received $1050 worth of children's books, which amounts to 59 titles. The Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library was the library's local sponsor giving $350 to the Foundation, and the Libri Foundation matched that amount at a 2-to-1 ratio. The Liberty Theater Begins Preparations for Fall Musical The Liberty Theater and TVAC Productions will be bringing a dusting of magic to the Liberty stage this fall with the musical Peter Pan.
