DAYTON – Dayton School Superintendent Doug Johnson reported at last week’s school board meeting that he has been in discussion with Waitsburg High School about possibly fielding a combined football team beginning in 2016. “We’re both interested in 2B football,” said Johnson. “There is a potential for other sports, as well,” he said. PRESCOTT – The Prescott soccer team hosted St. George's here Saturday and suffered a tough loss to the Dragons, 2-1 in the first round of state playoff action.
