    Rich and Julie Berg passed away within a week of each other last month in Everett, Wash. Julie Mings was the daughter of Cecil and Lena Mings of Dayton. Rich was the son of Evelyn and Vernon Berg of Lowden. Rich and Julie are survived by their children Mike and Heather. A celebration of life was held in Everett earlier this month for Rich. Julie’s will be Saturday April 2 at the Lions Building at the Waitsburg fairgrounds at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome....

    Ten Years Ago March 30, 2006 Waitsburg’s Garden Club held its first meeting Monday evening March 27 at Delta Connection, under the direction of funder Karen Gregutt.
