My rotation for recipes is desserts, breads, entrees, and vegetables/fruits. The first two come easily, the last two I always have to dig up or think about. I grew up with plain vegetables, no sauces, no butter, and not a lot of variety. So when I saw a post from All Recipes for side dishes, I tapped into it. They are both small recipes therefore I think I can get away with two. I haven't tried either, but I do like brussel sprouts and green beans. And who doesn't like bacon? Fried Brussel sprouts 6 slices bacon, cut into bite size pcs 2 Tbsp...

‘Tis the season for pumpkin anything. Before I get to this recipe, let me tell you I was going to share a pumpkin cinnamon roll recipe that sounded yummy. Vicki Z sent it to me to share, but, as always in the nature of cinnamon roll recipes, there is a lot of instructions, which came to just under 1000 words. My allowance is under 400 words. If you would like the recipe, please send me an email and I will be glad to forward it to you. Also, if you have any favorite recipes you do (or used to do) at Christmas time, please send those also. I...

This was served for the coffee hour at church so I know it's good. It is time for pumpkin recipes. Most pumpkin bread, cake and muffin recipes are moist, as is this cake. So if you have no reason to bake a cake, perhaps make this one and freeze it. I haven't made pumpkin puree from fresh pumpkins, but I hear it's not hard. I will try it-someday. **The Christmas issue will be coming up in a couple of months. Ken said I could share Christmas recipes. I have enough to do several pages, but if you have a favorite one you like to do at that time of...
