WALLA WALLA – The 43rd Annual American Association of University Women book sale will take place at the Marcus Whitman Hotel Feb. 16-18. GARFIELD COUNTY – One crew member was killed and two were injured when a private helicopter flying under contract with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) crashed in Garfield County while performing a mule deer study on Sat., Jan. 27. DAYTON - More than 700 adult salmon carcasses from hatcher spawning will be deposited in the Tucannon River on Jan. 27 to enhance nutrients for fish.
