Pacific Power recently awarded Waitsburg a $2,000 check toward the purchase of Celebration Days banners to line Main Street. People came from far and near to attend the Waitsburg Lions Club annual Salmon Bake last Saturday. The event went off without a hitch and the weather was the best it's been in recent years, according to one club member. The Salmon Bake, along with the Rib Feed, are the main fundraisers for the local club that provides strong support for the community.
