    WAITSBURG – Sheriff's Office officials were on the scene to retrieve a dead body found in Preston Park at about 2:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Tues., Feb. 21. Walla Walla Sheriff's Office Chief Matt Brown said the death was an apparent suicide and the victim's name will not be released until the family has been notified.
