Eighty-three-year-old Walla Walla artist Ikuna Sawada will donate 30 bonsai trees to a professor of geology at Whitman College. The donation will free him up to travel. He plans to donate his antique collection to the Whitman College Sheehan Gallery following his death. Ikune tends one of his bonsais.
