JOB ANNOUNCEMENT City of Dayton- Public Works Maintenance Worker Hourly Wage: $19.60-increase to $21.85 after 6 months Excellent benefit package and retirement. Accepting Applications until Friday August 5, 2022 DESCRIPTION: Perform routine and non-routine maintenance work of City owned parks and occasional work in streets, bridges, water, wastewater and storm systems, cemetery, animal control, wastewater treatment plant, garbage, brush and liter pickup, maintenance on city owned buildings. Employee is subject to work in all departments, works all shifts, weekends, holidays, special events, subject to 24 hour call out, and perform other duties as directed by the Public Works Director or designee. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each. essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED. Be in good health. Have a current Washington State driver's license, current CDL at least a class B or be able to obtain within 12 months of employment., current WSDA pesticide license or be able to obtain within 12 months.
