Kyle Lindsey
Kyle Lindsey’s parents are Sheila and Robbie. His sister Morgan is a WHS alumnus, and his younger siblings are Lane and Landen.
Lindsey has been a full-time student at WHS since his junior year. In his first year, he and four WHS band members participated in a mass-band event hosted by the Southeastern Washington Music Education Association in Clarkston, Wash.
As a member of Waitsburg FFA, he volunteered at school concessions, the Lions Club's rib and salmon feeds, and the Amazing Shake haunted house.
Lindsey played basketball for the Cardinals as a junior and football in his junior and senior years.
Lindsey works at his family's business, Rob's Tree & Shrub Care. After graduation, he will continue working with his family while seeking an apprenticeship to become an electrician.
Beatrix "Bea" Karl
Beatrix "Bea" Karl is the daughter of Julie and Dave. She has a sister, Sarah, and her brother, Jack, is a Waitsburg High School alumnus.
An honor student, Karl attends WHS in the morning and Walla Walla Community College through its Running Start program in the afternoons. Karl has been a Waitsburg student since her parents enrolled her in preschool.
As a freshman, she and Hope Adkins placed second in plant presentation at the FFA State competition. As a junior, Karl joined the National Honor Society and participated at the blood and food drives.
Karl's elementary years included participating in soccer, ballet, gymnastics, and hip hop dancing. In middle school, Karl played volleyball and in high school, she played softball and was a cheerleader for football and basketball. She has volunteered at school concessions.
Among her favorite high school memories are traveling to Hawaii with her family during her freshman year and spending time with her boyfriend Martin.
After graduation, Karl will attend Victoria's Academy of Cosmetology with plans of owning her own business.
Teegan Kenney
Teegan "Paco" Kenney came to Waitsburg Schools as a seventh-grader. His parents are Jason and Tianka. His dad and grandparents, Susie and John Kenney, are WHS alumni.
Kenney played drums in the band as a freshman, joined FFA as a sophomore, and is in Youth & Government as a senior.
School sports are Kenney's favorite memory, especially basketball. He played basketball from seventh grade and was named Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior.
He began participating in track in the third grade. In his sophomore year, he and his relay team placed 7th at State. He qualified for State Track in his junior year in the long jump and the 300-meter hurdles. Kenney was named Scout Player of the Year for helping his team improve as a junior. He played football from fifth grade through that year.
Kenney volunteers with the Salvation Army and rakes leaves for the elderly. In addition, he helps at school concessions and at the Lions Club's rib and salmon feeds.
This summer, Kenney will find employment and plans to get his barber license. In the fall, he will attend Washington State University or a college in Austin, Texas, to get his degree in computer engineering.
