William O. Samson II

William O. Samson II (Billy) passed away on October 7, 2025, after a long illness in Soldotna, Alaska. He is preceded in death by his father, William Samson, and his mother, Merrilee Samson of Waitsburg, Washington. Bill was born in Dayton, Washington, on December 5, 1958.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Robin Hilton, of the home in Soldotna, Alaska. He is also survived by his children; Michael (Amber) McIntosh of Walla Walla, Wash., Mary (Mike) Armijo of Walla Walla, Wash., William (Kristen) Samson of Moses Lake, Wash., Garrick Samson of Walla Walla, Wash., and George (Alayna) Hilton of Big Sky, Montana; his siblings, Andrew (Leesa) Samson of Haysville, Kansas., Alan Samson of College Place, Wash., Mike (Dawn) Samson of Irrigon, Oregon, Cindi (TJ) John of Peterson, Iowa, Cynthia Smith and Guy Snere of Kasilof, Alaska, Christine (Todd) Cloin of Waitsburg, Wash, and his 12 grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in May of 2026. The date is yet to be determined. A graveside service will follow at that time at the Dayton Cemetery. Corbeill Funeral Homes of Dayton will be in charge.
