WAITSBURG-Waitsburg High School and Preston Hall's Christmas Concert was held in the high school auditorium on December 12. Waitsburg's outstanding music instructor, Mrs. Elizabeth Jaegeski, directed the concert.

The sixth-grade band opened the program, playing "Good King Wenceslas," "Jingle Bells," and "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas." The duet of Kaitlyn Paul and Emily played "Lightly Row."

The Cardinal Choir sang "Do You Hear What I Hear," followed by the seventh-grade band playing "Sleigh Ride," "Frosty the Snowman," "Home For The Holidays," and "Levitating." The duet of Sophia Castillo and Stella Pearson played "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy."

The Cardinal Choir sang "Angels We Have Heard On High" before the eight-twelve-grade band played 'Carol Of The Bells," "Transmutation," and "Jingle Bell Rock." The trio of Fredy Chavez, Juca Beckman, and Bryer Paul played 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas."

Jaegeski is very proud of the students' growth. She said they were working well together and recognizing what sounds good. The school has replaced band uniforms and would appreciate donations of instruments so the band can continue to improve their musical skills with quality instruments.
