After more than four years with The Times, Teeny McMunn is retiring.

Since joining the team, Teeny has handled a long checklist of essential newspaper needs. She has handled advertising, legals, bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, and subscriptions. If you needed a subscription or renewal, Teeny was the gal who made sure the paper was in the mail. Needed to place an ad? Talk to Teeny. Birthdays, obituaries, birth announcements, and the inevitable correction, Teeny was the driving force!

Her job didn't end with the paperwork, though. Teeny has spent countless hours lending a hand preparing the weekly print editions with excellent ideas and faultless proofing. She has seen reporters, editors, and publishers come and go and has never hesitated to guide incoming staff to success. Often the only reason the newbies didn't have permanent 'deer in the headlight' eyes was Teeny's generous guidance and support.

Since 2016, Teeny has been sharing her favorite recipes with readers. From chicken salad to red velvet cake, she has shared recipes for every occasion and season. They are one of the most beloved columns, read by cooks, wanna-be chefs, and those who love her humor. It's not unusual to hear from readers as they share their success with one of the recipes from Teeny McMunn's Recipe Box!

As she passes The Times torch to her nervous successor, Teeny is looking forward to having more time for family, friends, and new projects. From all of us at The Times, congratulations on your retirement, Teeny. Thank you for all you've done to make this paper run professionally and be entertaining. We wish you the best!
