PRESCOTT—The Prescott Pool will host an aquacise class for area adults be- ginning Mon. June 17 with lap swim available in the deep area of the pool. Class hours are Mon. – Thurs. 9:30-10:30 a.m., weather permitting. The class will run through the summer until school starts.

Columbia County Transportation will provide no-cost, round-trip rides for class participants. The buss will leave the parking lot of the Dayton Pool at the Dayton City Park at 8:50 a.m. The bus will leave Prescott for the return trip to Dayton at 10:45 a.m. Individual pickup can also be arranged for Waitsburg and those living en route to Prescott. Participants are responsible for reserving their own bus seats. Call CCPT at (509) 382-1647 to arrange a ride.

The class includes a variety of exercises in the shallow end of the pool. Swimmers and non-swimmers are encouraged to join. Aquacise is a low-impact exercise that is good for joints and general well-being.

Adult swim costs at the Prescott Pool are $4/day or $60 for a season pass.
