4-Hers advance to State with presentions/demonstrations

WALLA WALLA-Four members of Home Grown Go Wild 4-H competed at the Walla Walla County 4-H Extension office for the second time this spring on May 14.  After competing in April and receiving blue ribbons, Sarah Daves, William Daves, Nathaniel Bennett and Timothy Daves advanced to the May competition. 

Each member received a second blue ribbon for their presentations and/or demonstrations, each member is now a State Fair qualifier and is able to compete for the Judge's Choice Award given in November at the county level.  All four are looking forward to participating at the Washington State Fair this September!

Demonstrations were given by:

Sarah Daves - Science, Floating on Water

William Daves - Science, Newton's Laws of Motion

Nathaniel Bennett - Shooting Sports, How to clean a Shotgun

Timothy Daves - Shooting Sports, Stances & Positions
