Waitsburg HASA Father-Daughter Dance, Jan. 20

WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg Home and School Association will hold its second annual Father-Daughter Dance on Sat., Jan 20 from 6-8 p.m.. in the Waitsburg Elementary School multipurpose room.

This year's "Ties & Tiaras" event is Cinderella-themed, with amazing décor, a fog machine, and roses for the ladies.

Nearly 50 gentleman attended last year's event, raising $744 for the Home and School Association.

Girls of all ages are invited to grab their dads, grandfathers, uncles, brothers and enjoy a magical evening of music, treats and dancing. Girls do not need to be Waitsburg students to attend this event.

Music will be provided by Walla Walla DJ, David Long, and Laisha White Photography will provide keepsake photos with a link to a digital download.

Tickets are $15 per gentleman and ladies are free. Tickets may be purchased at Blush Salon & Spa, located at 141 Main Street in Waitsburg.


All proceeds will be used by the Waitsburg HASA to benefit students in the Waitsburg School District. Each year the HASA purchases all school supplies for students in all three district schools.

The HASA is still working on ideas for a Mother-Son event. The next HASA meeting will be Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. in the elementary school library. Anyone interested in supporting Waitsburg students is welcome to attend.

Cookie and snack donations for the Father-Daughter Dance are appreciated and can be dropped off at the elementary school on Sat., Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. – noon.
