WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg volleyball team will hold its third annual Pink Night Breast Cancer Fundraiser on Tuesday, Oct. 25. The team will host Prescott at 6 p.m.  

The Match will also be senior night for Taylor Hays, Jade Alleman, Analisea Araya, and Timber Frohreich.  

“This year our fundraiser will be in honor of Prescott resident Doreen Bicknell, who has been battling breast cancer for the last several months,” said Waitsburg coach Angie Potts.  

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help offset expenses Bicknell’s family has incurred, as she continues her treatments.  

“As always, our fundraiser includes the pre-sale of t-shirts,” Potts said.

Shirts can be ordered from any of the Waitsburg volleyball players, and should be ordered no later than Oct. 10 so that the shirts can be delivered prior to the match. The team will also have its pink night bake sale at the match. Donations will also be accepted.
