Oktoberfest at Blue Mountain Station

 


DAYTON – The second annual Oktoberfest at the Blue Mountain Station Food Park (700 Artisan Way) will take place Sat., Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visitors will enjoy an afternoon of German food, local craft beer, and German music.

Dayton’s Kiwanis and Lions clubs will grill bratwursts from Tucannon Meats and man the beer garden featuring craft brews from Chief Springs Brewery. The co-op will prepare and sell additional German offerings such as authentic German Potato Salad, German Red Cabbage, and Apple Strudel.

Organic hot chocolate will be available for purchase and fire pits will be set up on the property for guests to sit and enjoy. Jumpin’ Jellybeanz will have a bounce house for the kids and vendors will have a variety of arts, crafts, and home based business goods for sale.

The event is organized by the Blue Mountain Station Co-op board and sponsored by the Port of Columbia and Pacific Power.
