Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day Celebration
LOWDEN – The Frenchtown Historical Foundation invites the community to participate in the fifth annual Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day Celebration on Sat., June 25 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Frenchtown Historic Site located at 8364 W. Old Highway 12, two miles west of the Whitman Mission.
St. Jean-Baptiste Day has been observed annually since 1834 throughout Canada and parts of the U.S. to honor the birthday of Quebec’s patron saint, and French-Canadian culture.
