"Our schools strive to provide the optimal learning environment to prepare our students to be career and college ready. Having updated technology to support our students in becoming responsible digital citizens is part of that effort," said District superintendent Carol Clarke.

WAITSBURG – The Board of Directors of the Waitsburg School District will hold two 'Envision the Future' Community Forums on Wed., Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the elementary school library. Everyone interested in the future of Waitsburg schools is encouraged to attend.

Superintendent Carol Clarke will provide background information on the 1999 voter-approved Capital Projects Bond as well as the current maintenance and operations levy – both of which expire at the end of the 2016 calendar year. Clarke will then share potential capital projects, which were identified by school staff, parents and community members last April.

Those in attendance will be asked to help priorities those projects. The school board will use the input to guide its decision regarding which projects will be placed before voters of the Waitsburg School District. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and share their opinions.
