Outback Rock VBS

Thirty-two kids attended the three-day "Outback Rock" Vacation Bible School hosted jointly by the Waitsburg Christian and the Waitsburg Presbyterian Churches. Thirteen adults, 14 middle and high school crew leaders and a "slew of volunteers" that provided snacks, props and  muscial talent made this year's program possible, said Pam Conover. Participants had fun making hand washing kits (that looked like kangaroos) for the YWCA Women's Shelter, doing crafts, and learning Bible verses and praise songs. Left: Marshall Nechedom explained (and later demonstrated) how to play the didgeridoo to "Mr. Digby" (aka Paul Ihle).
