DAYTON - The 21st All Wheels Weekend car show and extravaganza is coming to downtown Dayton (and the fairgrounds) Father’s Day weekend. You won’t want to miss it. The Times brings you a complete schedule below:

FRIDAY, JUNE 19th

(all events downtown)

4:00 -7:00 pm - Early car registration at the corner of 1st and Main Street

6:00 -9:30 pm - Live Music 2nd St and Main – Bad Motor Scooter 7.0

7:30 pm - Opening Ceremony at the AmericanWest Bank parking lot on Main Street

7:30 – 9:00 pm – Presentation of Cars at the American West Bank parking lot on MainStreet (Trophy for Coolest Cruizer will be awarded on Saturday at the Depot during Trophy Presentation)

SATURDAY, JUNE 20th

7:00 -10:00 am - Car Show Registration corner of First and Main

7:00 – ? - Pastries and Coffee for all pre-registration Show-n-Shine at Napa Auto Parts, Front & Main


9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Show-N-Shine on Dayton’s Historic Main Street with gorgeous classic cars, music, food, and crafts

9:30 am - Tribute to the Flag by Markeeta Little Wolf

10:00 am Outlaw Lawn Dragster Races sponsored by Columbia REA

South Third Street – free

10:00 am to 2:00 pm – Dingle’s Poker Walk open to both men and women.  Pick up forms at the registration desk, corner of First and Main. $1 per hand

9:00am to 2:00 pm – Double D Farm Speeder Car Rides at the Historic Depot.  Free admission to the museum

2:00 pm - Men’s “Drag” Races on Main Street sponsored by Scott Hudson and Northwest Business Services


2:45 pm - Outlaw Lawn Dragster Races sponsored by Columbia REA

South Third Street – free

4:00 pm - Trophy Presentation at the Depot – bring a chair

SATURDAY EVENTS AT COLUMBIA COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS:

3:00 pm - Beer Garden opens

5:00 pm –  Demo Derby at the Fairgrounds. Sponsored by O’Brien Chevrolet/Nissan of Walla Walla

SUNDAY, JUNE 21st

(all events at the Fairgrounds)

8:00 -11:00 am - Father’s Day Breakfast at the Youth Building at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Pancakes, fresh Klicker strawberries and whipped cream, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk, and juice.  $7.00 adults, $5.00 kids 12 and under

9:00 am -All Wheels Golf Tournament at the Touchet Valley Golf Course sponsored by Chief Springs Fire & Iron Brew Pub.  Trophies and prizes will be awarded in this 9-hole, two person non-handicap scramble.  $10,000 putting contest!!! (Tournament committee will form the two-person teams.) $10.00 entry fee per person does not include greens fees of $16 for members.  To enter, send name, address, and phone number along with a check for $10 made payable to All Wheels Weekend to 166 E Main Street, Dayton, WA  99328.
