Courtroom Gets New Carpet

A crew from R & TR Installers of Walla Walla were at work Monday installing new carpet in the courtroom in the Columbia County Courthouse in Dayton. According to Teeny McMunn of Hometown Carpets in Dayton, workers were on the job over the weekend moving benches and furniture. R & TR began removing the old carpet Sunday. Repairs were made to the ceiling in April. Repair costs were covered by the HVAC contractor's insurance carrier.
