DAYTON - A trial date of September 8 in Columbia County Superior Court has been set for George W. Waltermire and Deloris Elder, both of Dayton, according to the Columbia County Prosecutor's Office.

Waltermire, 60, and Elder, 50, were both arrested on June 9 and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The arrests came after the Walla Walla Police Department SWAT Team lead a search of Waltermire's home on E. Commercial St. in Dayton. Waltermire and Elder have both been released on bail.
