PILOT ROCK - The Lady Tigers softball team won one of three games played at the March 21-22 tournament in Pilot Rock.

The Tigers faced Umatilla in Friday night's first game of the tournament, walking away with a 14-3 mercy-rule win. "We initially struggled with Umatilla's young pitch­er because her speed isn't something we're used. It was hard for the girls to be patient at the plate and let the ball get to them.
