WAITSBURG -- The City of Waitsburg is still look- ing for citizens who would like to take advantage of the sidewalk repair program. The program is the result of a policy that allows the city to partner with homeown- ers in sharing the cost of sidewalk repairs. The new policy allows the City to use its own labor force to demol- ish, prepare, pour and finish damaged sidewalks, with the home- owner obligated to pay only for the cost of materials. Residents inter- ested in sidewalk repair or an estimate may contact the city.
