WAITSBURG - In 1973 the Waitsburg Ambulance Service formed a subscrip- tion program for ambulance services. In 2009, the State determined that the term "subscriber" was inappro- priate and the program was renamed the Waitsburg Am- bulance Service Membership Program.

For a donation of $35 per year, a member and anyone living in their household, will not be required to pay any out-of-pocket expenses in relation to their care, treat- ment and transportation to a medical facility. This service applies only to the Waitsburg Ambulance Service and not to paramedic services, air or hospital services. The period of membership is for one year, January 1 through De- cember 31; however mem- bership may be obtained at any time.

Only those residing within the legal boundaries of the Waitsburg Ambulance Ser- vice are eligible. All funds not directly used for transport services will be used to support ambulance service operations. Your support in this membership drive will ensure that the ambulance service will be available to transport a sick or injured patient to the medical facil- ity if needed.
