Harvest Festival Presbyterian Church Basement

2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Children ages 3 through 5th grade are welcome to join the combined Sun­day School kids from the Christian and Presbyte­rian churches in their annual Harvest Festival. Those at­tending will be divided into teams to accept donations for World Vision and a mis­sionary family in Kosovo. Middle and High School students will assist the chil­dren and return to the church where there will be games and snacks. Children are welcome to wear appropri­ate costumes.

First Thursday Concert

12:15 p.m.

Featured will be Wa-Hi vocal ensembles, Chamber Singers and Belles Voix, di­rected by Norbert Rossi. The concert is free but donations are accepted, which will be given to the Chrisitan Aid Center, the charity chosen by the performers.

Veteran's Day Assem­bly

Bill Hinchliffe will share about Waitsburg's "Com­pany K" -- a group of 90 young men from Waitsburg who volunteered for action during the Spanish-Ameri­can War and were sent to the Philippines. Mr. Hinchliffe's father was a member of Company K.
