Pam Nolan Beasley received a grant to purchase materials for early literacy and kin­dergarten readiness.     WAITSBURG -- Waits­burg Elementary will hold kindergarten registration for the fall of 2014 during the week of March 31 - April 3. Registration will be in the Elementary office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. All children who turn five, on or before August 31 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall of 2014.     WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg 7-8th grade band traveled to Asotin on March 21 where they earned a Su­perior (I) rating in the Mass Band Festival. The band per­formed three songs: "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got that Swing," "Tunbridge Overture," and "Forge of Vulcan." All 38 band mem­bers were in attendance.
