DAYTON - Kids in Dayton will descend on the City Park Saturday morning for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt starts at 11 a.m. Organizer Judi Brooks said that the hunt is open to toddlers through sixth grade. Prizes will be awarded by age group to the kids finding the golden eggs. DAYTON - High School Senior Tanner Sousley has received permission from the county to host a clean-up day at Bundy Hollow Cemetery at noon on April 19, as a community service project. Tanner became interested in cleaning up the site because he has relatives buried in the cemetery. WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg High School Band performed at a Band Festival in Clarkston on March 25 and scored a superior rating. "This is especially difficult at the high school level, and the band played very well," said Band Director Brad Green. The band played "Fanfare for a Celebration" and "Prairie Dance." DAYTON - The Juvenile fish pond in Dayton is ready for fishing this spring. According to Steve Martin of the Snake River Salmon Recovery Board, the pond in the Dayton City Park was stocked earlier this month with rainbow trout.
