In November, voters approved the annexation of the City of Waitsburg Fire Dept. into Fire District No. 2. In addition, The Waitburg Ambulance Service will dissolve Dec. 31, with Fire No. 2 taking over ambulance services. Fire No. 2 will move its office to the former WAS building.
