Washington Governor Jay Inslee traveled to the Touchet Valley on Tuesday, stopping in Waitsburg, Dayton and Starbuck, before going to Palouse Falls State Park. There, surrounded by students from Washtucna Elementary School, he signed a bill declaring Palouse Falls the official waterfall of Washington. The idea for the bill was initiated by the Washtucna students.
