Dayton-Waitsburg girls fall to St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, College Place and Mac-Hi

Winter sports officially started this past week as the Dayton-Waitsburg girls opened up their basketball season with three games.

They fell to St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 59-28, to College Place 64-35, and 50-30 to Mac-Hi in their first home games of the season at the Dayton gymnasium.

While things did not start off optimistically with three losses, the team came away with valuable lessons that will become instilled in them as the season progresses.
