A quiet southern town is thrown into dramatic upset when a black man in the community is accused of a crime against a white woman. The story is told from the perspective of Atticus, a defense lawyer, and his two children, Scout and Jem. The plot and characters are loosely based upon an event that occurred near the author’s hometown in Alabama in 1936.

“To Kill a Mockingbird” is produced with permission of Dramatic Publishing Company. Performances will be March 29, 30, April 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14 at The Little Theatre of Walla Walla. For more information or questions, call 509-529-3683.
