CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-Lewis & Clark College sophomore Emily Adams finished 23rd at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships with a career-best time of 18:00:0 in the 5,000 meters.

Adams is a 2017 graduate of Waitsburg High School, and is the daughter of Ann and Lonny Adams, of Waitsburg.

Adams is continuing her success in her college running career. She finished seventh at The Frontier Conference Meet in Great Falls Montana last month.
